Words from the President:

As President of The Aeolian Choir it is a pleasure for me to invite you to join with us. A warm welcome awaits you.

We meet on Tuesday evenings at The Howard Centre, Kilmarnock, with season running from September to March. We perform several concerts throughout the winter which includes our Christmas concert and Annual concert.

I joined the choir ten years ago having previously sung in various church choirs and thoroughly enjoy the camaraderie and fun of singing at our practices and events.

Singing is one of the most positive forms of human activity, supporting physical, mental and general wellbeing and it is gratifying to come together as a choir and create something special.

The male voice choir is now under the guidance of Musical Director, Alistair Peter and Accompanist, Matt Allison.

Both these young men add greatly to the wonderful atmosphere at our practices.

We offer a sponsorship scheme to any young person who wishes to join the choir.

One great advantage to new and current members is the members web page where each individual part is played, allowing you to practise at your leisure.

Our repertoire is wide and varied and sometimes a challenge which is all the more satisfying when you hear around fifty men giving it their all...

EVERYONE CAN SING, so come along and join in!
